In order to raise awareness of West Coast Swing in the north of the Netherlands, we, Esmeralda de Haan and Arnold van der Veen (2015 World Champion in Line and Couple Dance at the WcDF), have founded West Coast Swing Noord-Nederland.
After being infected with the virus of West Coast Swing dancing ourselves, we now try to share our passion and transfer it to others. We do this by sharing events on social media and this website, by organizing dance evenings, workshops, classes and boot camps.
Besides west coast swing we also dance solo or Solo Dance/Modern Line. In these lessons you dance alone, so without a partner. In contrast to many line dance clubs, we do not dance to country but mainly to modern contemporary music such as Pop, Salsa, R&B, Soul, Rock & Disco.

Certainly, we offer more. We also provide workshops for beginners in West Coast Swing or solo dance, suitable for those without any prior experience in West Coast Swing or dancing. These workshops are an excellent opportunity for team building within companies, neighborhood groups, bachelor parties, dance schools, and other organizations.
